Preparing for a meet isn't about just getting stronger, it's about realizing your true strength and abilities to handle heavier loads. Preparing for a meet is like preparing for any other sporting event; too much too soon and you're burnt out. Too little too late and you're not ready for the extreme effort that's needed on meet day.
Maybe you aren't ready for a meet; this can still be for you. If you've never really pushed yourself to your limits, running through a meet prep program can get your body ready for the heavier weights for a max attempt.
Each week is laid out for you with 4 lifting days per week. The main lifts are programmed to progressively work towards heavier singles as the meet approaches. Accessories are given in cycles as well.
